(It works in ableton with no problems but maybe the USB port on the mpc was only intended for a midi controller for input but not both ways, I don’t know part of my confusion) ![]() When I connect the monologue via usb it just sends midi in and controls both the pads on the MPC and the dm6 but when the midi sequence plays back it’s not “telling” the monologue to play said sequence.ġ. What I would like to do is then also connect my korg monologue via usb and have the same effect of having the both midi in and out connected without having to daisy chain. ![]() I am fairly new to using a hardware set up so I’m having issue that may or may not be obvious. From there I record it into an audio track typically. This way I can have a midi sequence that I play on the dm6 going into a midi track on the mpc which then in turn tells the dm6 what to play. What I do from here is I have the dm6 outs going into a mixer then feeding into the audio input of the mpc. The way my workflow is is this : midi out to the dm6 midi in then midi in from the mpc to the midi out on the dm6 It works perfectly when I’m using only one synth (berhinger deepmind 6) Currently I have 2 synths I want to be able to sequence separately ( berhinger deepmind 6, and korg monologue) but also have the audio coming back to the mpc. Recently got an mpc one and am loving it. Connecting a synth via midi and abort her synth via usb on also mpc one? ![]()
